Japanese people are incredibly friendly. Nicest.People.Ever!
Italians have a love for randomly bursting into folk song (at least in the South).Loved that!
Zimbabweans, though many are poor, are still so focused on education, family and not at all prone to theft.

Burma/Myanmar. The people are courteous and pleasant. The greet you in the streets, they are patient and quiet and gentle, they respect each other. They smile. They respect culture and education. They create their own inner spiritual peace, that no autocratic government can take away from them.
Burmese workers cross into Thailand every morning, where they do cheap and dirty day-labor. They are educated, can speak three languages, and their Thai employers treat them like crap.

I've lived in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Taiwan. Everybody was friendly and welcoming.
Moved to Texas and found the same thing.

São Paulo-Brazil. Down here you'll find a real big city. In a typical day, you get into your car, try to drive over 15 miles per hour(if you don't get stuck in the traffic), stop at some corner bakery near your job, have a cup of coffe, and talk about the last night soccer match. People are very kind here, they give you any information you want, with a smile in their faces(well, sometimes).

Italy: Venice-beautiful buildings, rich history, fantastic art
Florance-art, food, friendly helpful people
Gaeta-loved Gaeta. Great food, very friendly people, relaxing atmosphere, history, and I'd love to go back again.
Spain-good food, friendly helpful people, and they're willing to work with you if you don't speak their language. Sometimes that was more fun than the museums for both myself and the locals. Enjoyed the shrimp omlet made with white wine.
Malta-great and proud people of this little country. Eye opening history I never knew until my visit to Malta.
Greece-(island of Rhodes)loved the gyros, beautiful women, great beaches, rich history.
Israel-beautiful women, good food, ancient history, friendly people who enjoy life

I like Canadians because they make it so easy to not want to visit their country.
Thank you.

Serbs are one of the most misunderstood group of people today due to the media (news, movies and tv). Yes, there were horrors done during the war, but the media also blew that up as no one really reported the atrocities done against them.
I have been to Serbia 4 times (and will be there again in Sept), once for 6 months, and have found the people to be hospitable, sharing the little that they do have with guests; smart (most in Belgrade knew 3+ languages); cultured; hardworking and funny. The women are beautiful and most of the men handsome and charming. I felt safe in the city no matter what the time, but had to be careful of pick-pockets esp. on the crowded busses.
If you are planning on going abroad, this is one country that you must visit!

Although I am very skeptical about the US overall, somehow I have no problem living among the Americans...
( Because really when you think about it, your average Joe is kind and friendly person and I don't live on the Wall Street))))
