Boracay is one of the best I've seen.

But actually most touristic islands are quite nice.

I find all of these islands the most beautiful in the world:

-Hong Kong island
-Manhattan NYC
-Honshu island of Japan
-Most of the islands of Hawaii
-The island nation of Taiwan
-The island nation of Iceland
-Great Britain island (which includes a lot of England, Scotland, and the UK in general)
-Singapore
-Phuket
-Montreal
-Vancouver Island (not to be confused with the city of Vancouver which is not an island. It is separate from Vancouver island).
-Bora Bora
-Fiji

The Maldives etc are really nice, but there's nothing there that you can't find in dozens of other isles.
I'll agree with HI. Was lucky enough to live there for a while, trying to get back ASAP. Been to oahu, kauai, maui, BI, Lanai though. Each one has it's own uniqueness, and the Big Island continues to be my favorite corner of the world.. no other place like it.

Beautiful old architecture, great culture, affordable and safe.

Beer and wine is of great quality too. So are the olives.
