The trouble at the football match was between N Ireland and Poland, not Romania.

Yup that is correct.
And surely you would have to have alot of matches too for their to be alot of troubles between two teams! Either sensational journalism or you read too much into it.

I agree, sensational journalism. Or perhaps a misreading of whatever really happened... if anything. I heard nothing of that trouble here in Dublin.. it certainly didn't make any news that I saw.
It should be noted that fans of the Republic team are regarded as the most peaceful and are welcomed wherever they go.

Probably sensational journalism. It was very exacting in the reporting, though. If Poland had been mentioned I would remember it.
I keep an eye on Ireland because, frankly, I care.
That's why I asked about the soccer incident. I knew you folks would have your fingers on the pulse.

It is pretty hard to fake a police charge at fans, if it is fake I say they did an excellent job, but I doubt it.

Oh, I see what you meant by the videos. I thought you were referring to video tours of the Guinness factory or interviews with Tim Pat Coogan (which of course would be factual). It didn't occur to me to watch soccer/police action in Belfast. I saw way too much of the problems poor Ulster has when I was there.
