Hey im looking to move to a different country currently staying in the U.S. but really wanting to move out for lots of reasons.
Area of the country is no issue anywhere is fine with me but i do prefer cold places. However i do prefer EU as i can and likely will get my Portuguese dual citizenship from there as my mother and her parents are all from there and i was even properly baptized there as well. So the EU would be easy for me but any place is fine.
Notice about Japan:
I do enjoy hell i love Asian culture which is why Japan is a big player on my list i do already know a good amount of Japanese also.
Some stuff about me to help you help me:
Im quite anti social so would likely never leave my house/apartment whatever i end up buying. I am a rather friendly guy. I am not such a bad looking person if i say so myself... im not a model but im for sure not bad looking. I do come across as somewhat scary to some people however. Lets see... well i am a gamer? i suppose you could guess that. Bit of a nerd... but whatever.
Things i would like if possible
No or little American racism is a plus but not needed
I would like it if there was a decent population that already know English so it would make it easy to live there while learning the local language.
I am quite a internet dweller so internet is a big factor also when moving for me and also internet related laws (no i don't do illegal things)but i still really need to know about DMCA related stuff. (Both of these things are a big factor to me)
I do prefer the cold so that is a big plus also. But cold is not needed.
A decent tech industry would be great. As i may go into the IT job field.
Good living standards and decent jobs. Jobs part is hard hard i know so that is optional.
I do prefer city life so id like to avoid a country type life style.
A good nightlife scene is cool also. Not like clubs i mean as in i stay up almost everyday all night because i have sleeping issues so when i go out at 4am to get some food i would like some place to be open you know? Also good bars are a plus =P
No not from own experience so take it with a grain of salt.
-It's definitely cold
-They recently legislated the "right to internet" I think
-The younger people know their English
-Not sure about IT but it should be comparable to other Euro countries
-They should have a lot of bars since all they do is drink but don't know about opening hours
-Every Finn I've ever met was anti-social to some extend ranging from just a bit odd to outright wacko

The world is not an oyster for you to pluck. Restrictions abound.
Just because you want to do this and that and have all these preferences for climate and lifestyles--it don't mean crap.
You have to make a living. Emigrate. Acquire residency and work permits. Find a job and a residence. You have what plan in mind to pull this off?
There is not a single practical utterance in your post.
I'm calling BS until you prove otherwise.
Well i was trying not to be a dick by putting this in my main post but im from a rich family... so work...is not a issue.
As for passport that is taken care of already i have to go to Portugal a lot for family.
Come to know the south of Brazil. (State of Rio Grande do Sul)
