Best Places fo Live WITHIN other countries (living in, rankings)

There are dozens of publications ranking US cities, and world cities, as the best places to live. Does anybody know of rankings WITHIN any other countries, for best places to live in that country?

Here's one I found for UK:

Here's one I found for Germany, though it only lists the ten biggest cities, with Munich number one followed by Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. I've seen other such studies in German magazines and generally Freiburg is at or near the top.

This French survey asked people which city they'd prefer to live in and Montpellier came out top, followed by Toulouse and Bordeaux:
