I think Egypt, since I think they are by far the largest Arab Country. It's funny that they are not first ones we think about--mainly due to media and the wars the US has been involved in.
But what is the difference ? I thought they are all Muslims
Arab is an ethnicity. There are muslims in Asia, Africa and Europe and they are not arabs, and there are people from arab countries that are christians and they are arabs.
I can't speak for all but I usually think of Saudi Arabia because it has the word "Arabia" in it. So does the United Arab Emirates but since I think of it as UAE it doesn't pop up in my head as a country containing the word "Arab".
Ditto. I think of the countries in the Arabian peninsula as being the most *truly* Arab and the ones in the Levant and Northern Africa more being "Arabized" but with other substratic influences.
