What is it about Tokyo that you do not like if I may ask?

Washington DC (I live several minutes outside of it) is the capital city of the US, not New York.

London. But I haven't been to Sydney, so I suppose I can't make a completely informed judgement.

Depends what for:

Vibe: NYC
Entertainment and shopping: London
Museums and culture: Paris
Nightlife: Miami
Weather: Los Angeles
Parks, public realm: London
Food: Paris
Beautiful architecture: Paris
High budget living: London
Low budget living: NYC

As for overall, it's tough but I would choose London for now. It's the only one among these (maybe with the exception of NYC) that gives that sense of amazement. That may change over time though.

Did I miss Bangkok? Otherwise San Francisco is fun.

Excluding Sao Paulo, my city - I would vote for it for obvious reasons...

1. Vienna
2. Paris
(gap)
3. Milan
4. London
5. Buenos Aires
6. Rome

I would put Firenze above Milan, but I don't know if it counts as a major city.

I am a bit tired of the whole London v Paris v NYC thing.

So will go with Barcelona, it's got history, nice beaches, a good night life and a nice vibe.

When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life.
