Which Countries Have the Most Positive Future and the Most Negative Future. Also, General Future for Certain Countries.
Which top 10 countries do you think have the most positive future and also show the greatest future improvement compared to the way it is now and which top 10 countries have the most troubling negative future?
For the future, we should mainly talk about the next 5 to 20 years. Also try to put some specific reasons for why you think the future will be like that for the countries you are talking about.
Also other than the top 10 countries with most positive future and top 10 for most negative future, this thread can also be about the general future for any country, but try to separate that with the other stuff being talked about.
Most Positive Future and Also Greatest Future Improvement:
1. China: China has a rapidly growing economy, rapidly growing wealth, and rapidly growing cities that look cool in pictures. Also, it seems like there is more environmental awareness for China. I think China will fix its environmental problems and become more green.
2. Switzerland: Switzerland is already in good shape. It has one of the most positive futures for any country in Europe and seems like it will continue to be in relatively great state, peace, and prosperity.
3. Sweden: Sweden is already in good shape. Pretty much the same exact things I said for Switzerland seems to apply for Sweden.
Some people think immigration is a problem in Sweden but in some ways it doesn’t seem like it is and I am sure Sweden will settle out this immigration problem.
4. Norway: The same as Sweden when talking about this thread subject.
5. Denmark: The same as Sweden and Norway when talking about the future for these countries.
6. Netherlands: The same as Sweden, Norway, and Denmark when talking about this thread subject.
*These 5 European countries I mentioned so far (Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Netherlands) seem to have a similar future and compared to most other European countries doing the best.
7. Australia: It seems like it is in good shape with steady economic growth, growing cities. Not really any negative stuff getting in the way it seems like.
8. Thailand: Thailand has rapid economic growth and continued wealth and prosperity. Not as much as China but still.
It has some minor problems with Malaysia which I found out recently, but it seems like it will settle out and not get in the way that much.
9. Vietnam: Rapid economic growth. The economic growth is faster than Thailand but slower than China from what I read. Rapidly growing cities and wealth.
10. India: Also rapidly growing in economy and wealth. It seems like it is making a lot of positive improvements in general.
Most Troubling Negative Future:
1. Iraq: Even though the USA left Iraq, it is still in a horrible state and is in ruins. It seems like it might have a civil war. Seems like things will continue to be bad in Iraq or even worse.
2. Afghanistan: Pretty much the same as what I said for Iraq.
3. Iran: It is becoming enemies with countries such as USA and plenty of other countries as well. Probably is close to civil war status.
4. Venezuela: In the past 20 years(2 decades) I read things went rapidly downhill with economy, and crime because of a horrible dictator president(Chavez).
5. Somalia: Already in anarchy status. I guess it is almost as bad as it gets for a place but it could get even worse. Very poor. No signs of any improvement and plenty of signs that it will get even worse in Somalia.
6. Zimbabwe: Very poor. The poorest country in the world based on what some website links say. Zimbabwe has extremely high unemployment and one of the highest unemployment rates in the world.
7. Congo: Also very poor. Extremely high crime and one of the highest crime rates in the world. Just not any signs for anything positive in its future it seems like and plenty of signs that it will get even worse.
* Also, not all African countries have such bad futures. Countries such as Gabon, Ghana, Botswana, and Namibia have positive futures, even if they don’t make the top 10.
8. Pakistan: It is becoming enemies with USA, India, and plenty of other countries. A lot of instability and lots of poverty and corruption in Pakistan.
*Also, it should be noted that India and Pakistan are really very different countries at this point. India has one of the most positive futures while Pakistan one of the worst for one example. Also, India is still wealthier and less corrupted than Pakistan and also much more positive things about it.
9. Turkmenistan: Turkmenistan is very poor and with extremely high unemployment. Not to be confused with Turkey. Turkey and Turkmenistan are different countries.
10. Israel: It is not a good place for its existence geographically with a lot of nearby enemies and also lots of domestic problems as well.
*North Korea would be on this list but I think the new leader will be so much better than the old leader so it seems like North Korea will improve.

Of those on your list with the negative future, most of them have either already been destroyed by America, or are under constant threat to be destroyed by America. Whatever else a country has, it has no chance of a positive future if the Americans are going to crush it or h old it down.
So, to predict countries with a negative future, just predict which ones the US will put on the Axis of Evil list.

Plenty of countries (6 out of 10) that I wrote on the most negative future list do seem like enemies and having conflicting experiences with the USA (Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Venezuela, Somalia).
However 4 out of 10 of those countries don’t have those experiences with the USA (Israel, Turkmenistan, Congo, Zimbabwe).
Most Americans don’t even seem to know that Turkmenistan and Zimbabwe exists. Also, plenty og people would probably confuse Turkmensitan with Turkey that are both very different countries.
However, it does seem true that a country having positive relations with the USA is a good thing for that country and its future plenty of times but not all the time.

I would put Canada and Australia together for future projected growth outlooks:
7. Australia & Canada (Tied): It seems like it is in good shape with steady economic growth, growing cities. Not really any negative stuff getting in the way it seems like.

Some comments are baffling on this site but this takes some beating. Britain up there with Haiti and Iraq, are you seriously saying that the UK's future is more bleak than countries where people are dying of hunger? Even Italy, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and France are in worse situations than Britain.

It's called dry humor.
But anyways, yeah, Britain's all downhill from here.

Yep dry is the right word!
And I am sure America with great affluent places like Camden, New Orleans, St Louis, Philly, Engleswood in Chicago, Washington DC etc will be fine! practically 3rd world in parts!
There's my dry humor, nearly as bad as yours!

That's fine, because the US is already there.
