UK influence in Canada really depends on where you are in Canada. That said there are cultural things from the Uk that still exist. Like in this story.
Canadians have always been good allies, as have Australians/New Zealanders, and the US has been a good idea ally from the 20th century onwards.
Canada also has a significant amount of French and European culture, and has it's own strong national identity, and sometimes living beside a country such as the US makes your own identity even more important.
I have the Bahamas and Bermuda here because they are English speaking and heavily influenced by American culture due to their proximity. South Africa is a stretch but the white South African culture is a Western culture that grew out of the frontier much like a lot of American culture did. There are similarities between the Afrikaners and the pioneers and Pilgrams who created the USA.
I ranked Australia ahead of Canada because all of Australia is English speaking while Canada has Quebec (I would guess more people in Miami speak English than in Montreal). Also, Australian culture is more conservative and individualistic than Canadian culture is, and the Australian Outback has parallels with Texas and the West and Australia has a deep cowboy culture too.
Italy and Spain are the more conservative countries in Europe and both are very religious like the U.S. is. The runaway liberalism of Germany and Scandinavia is very foreign to most Americans. Also, at least in the South, Americans' friendliness is more on the Italian level than like Germans or Swedes.

Biggest signs of lasting British imperial-era cultural influence in Canada is that every town over 5k or so has a fish and chips shop. You cannot say the same about the US.

Not everywhere in Canada. A fish and chips shop just opened here in Quebec City, as far as I know there hadn’t been one for a very long time (at least 50 years, maybe ever).

Of course Quebec is the exception, for obvious reasons.
