Yeah and if there is somebody to blame it's the people behind our elected leaders, the establishment, they rise up and pull down dictators globally for their interrests, geostrategy, geopolitics, devide and conquer nations to grab stuff.
Old Anglo Dutch imperial system of mercantilism sucking dry third world countries, these parasites also try to suck your country dry and destroy your constitution.

hahaha....i hope you don't mind if i don't follow up your advise.....lol
Also not all moslem countries, turkey is pretty liberal and secular on statelevel. People are from extremely liberal along the coastlines and parts of Istanbul to very fundementalistic in remoteparts of the eastern area and innerlands. the most radicals live in Pakistan and Saoudi Arabia.
Pakistan has a massive population.
You have a nice country TexasGirl@Heart! i hope people keep fighting and defending her freedoms, cause you have a history of that!!
We're all in the same boat more or less, there have been periods where things got better, unfortunatly we're in a period where everything seems to get worse ,but it hasn't have to continue forever tho!!
Western countries have troubles to find their place in the world and many dictators too. Like N-korea, it's beyond me, just like Zimbabwe that people didn't storm the parliament, at some point you have nothing to loose anymore..
I rather die for my freedom!!I don't want to live in an open concentration camp, wich N-korea basicly is.
nice to talk to you!!

Obama.
The idiot has spent more in just 3 months than Bush did in 8 years fighting 2 wars, 9/11, and multiple natural disasters including Katrina.
Our personal freedoms are disappearing by the second by this inept dope in office along with the rest of his tax cheating administration.

Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot. I could name more. If you want to name the worst leaders in the world, you can start with the despots who conducted massive genocide. They aren't the only ones.

Get real!
Bush may not be the brightest light bulb in the pack, but he certainly is not a dictator. He doesn't even rank near to Stalin, Hitler, Kim Jong II, Pol Pot...

Instead of throwing barbs, why don't you attempt to educate people on why you like Bush. And we can guess that you like him, as a Texan.
And the thread title has nothing to do with dictators.. it mentions worse leaders; you can be a worse leader and not be dictatorial though the general rules seems to indicate these coincide (also reflected in my list). My basic premise is leaders take care of their people. The more common examples of worse leaders have already been mentioned, I'd like to add the following:
Idi Amin, Uganda - human rights violation, repression, ethnic killing, kicked out Asians, etc. etc.
Mugabe, Zimbabwe - self explanatory, millions are suffering while he lives ini luxury
Bokassa, Central African "Empire" - mad man who declared himself Emperor. Participated in beating and killing of elementary school children among many crimes.
Shwe, Burma/Myanmar - current oppressor of his people

then summarily destroyed it by getting into wars that he could not win and executing millions of people. if he was really smart he would have kept germany intact and prosperous.

I've been to Indonesia (largest Muslim country and 1 in 4 muslims are Indonesian), Malaysia, Turkey, Iraq and the UAE. To stereotype all muslim countries as conservative and arch-Islamist is wrong. It would be just as wrong to stereotype Texas as a land of loud Jesus loving cowboys who drive giant gas guzzling SUVs with gun racks and next to them sit a big haired, big chested (thanks to plastic surgery) cheer leading blonde girlfriend with a low IQ.

Umm...nothing if that Muslim country is Indonesia. I have an aunt who lives in Indonesia and says she really can't understand the fundamentalist Islamic women who completely cover themselves and wear all black in the Indonesian heat. She certainly doesn't wear a veil or black robe herself in and neither do most Balinese sunbathers that would defeat the purpose.
Indonesia is both a free country and the largest muslim country. I suggest you at least visit before making blanket statements.

Sorry I meant to say Lebanon (not Iraq)... sorry!
And none of the above countries fit the stereotype of oppressed women who are required to dress in all black.

And Albania which is rife with women in miniskirts.
And to motoracer51--really? We spent more on the Iraq war alone than we did on EESA with the big difference being the EESA is doing its spending here (in the states) trying to fix something that we necessarily have to deal with. Where is the comparison you're drawing?
