I am not saying I am going to do this but it crossed my mind and thought I would do some research; I am hoping you guys could help me in this area. I am eighteen, not going to college, and looking to move out of America to a place where I can keep my small budget but live a life of luxury.
I would like to spend as little as possible while being able to have a modern (and clean) apartment, car, and what not. If you guys could tell me cities or places that fit my criteria and average budgets for a two bedroom apartment, car/fuel, shopping, eating, entertainment, ect. I was thinking the cheaper the better and once i know how much each place cost i will sort of form my budget around there. I was hoping to spending less then 10,000USD a year but i have a feeling that's a little crazy unless i move to Afghanistan.
Requirements:
- Clean city
- Safe
- English
- Decent population (anything over 5,000)
- Average temperature
- Wont kill me that I am a Jewish white male
If you have any question's please ask and thanks in advance!
Edit: I work over the internet/phone

you want a two bedroom apartment and a car and you want to be in an english speaking place? honestly man, you might as well just stay where you are. the US has the cheapest car prices in the world, cheap fuel prices compared to other english speaking countries, and rents can be pretty cheap in some parts of the country.
if you want advice on where to go to actually live on the cheap (and not include a bunch of completely impossible requirements like you just did) then maybe you'll get better responses.
If yes, you should take in consideration the average wages in the country. Countries were the cost of living is lower usually have lower wages as well...

he might have savings. i had over US$30k saved when i moved to bangkok at 18. of course my plan was to stay in asia indefinitely and live on my savings for a few years while i built up contacts for expat work, etc. didn't exactly work like that. ran out of money after 16 months and came to the realization that it's extremely difficult to get good paying work in cheap countries - the expat job markets being so saturated.
Sorry about that. I work over the internet and phone.
will the difference in time zone be a factor for you? it usually is for ppl involved in phone work. when i was working in a boiler room we worked very odd hours, wasn't pleasant.

I mostly do stock market (not interday, so i can do it at any hour) and real estate investments with property managers. Time zone is not really a big deal. It would be cool if it was closer to EST time zone but i don't care that much.
Hate to break it to you but the place you're looking for doesn't exist. Based on your writing ability, you seem smart enough. Go to college. Even two years at a community college will take you much further in life than a $10,000 nest egg in Felize.
I was there years ago on a cruise, the part we went to was in complete shambles. If i remember correctly they said they only had one school bus for the kids and the richest people in that area only had a washer (not a dryer).
I searched some homes and they were pretty expensive, most of the homes/condos were going in the highs 70K+ and those were not in the nicest conditions.
I might be looking in the wrong part, could you assist me a little in what part you are referring to?
