The 2nd most popular tourist destination in the world is the US.
The # 3 city that gets the most tourists in the world? New York
Oh! and what's the most popular stop? Times Square.
What may be boring to you is fascinating to someone else. I live in a tourist destination - to me - been there, done that, ho-hum.
BTW
I believe it's for privacy. Who wants some nosy parker peering over their shoulder?

They visit the large malls of NY and FL.
4.5 million is nothing.

I wonder how many tourists the US would get if California, NYC and Florida didn't exist.
Maybe not even half of what they get right now.

You can't call NYC a large mall... this is a complete exaggeration...

In fact, Manhattan is a large mall, most Europeans go there to shop. You can pay your trip with all the savings you make. The same goes on in Florida, European tourists spent most of their time in Sawgrass, the largest mall in the US.

I bet you will get A LOT more tourists if you replace Paris by NYC, Marseille by LA, Lyon by Chicago and so on..
France just got a lot of tourism because of Paris and it's location (you can go to France from anywhere in Europe within 3 hours by plane).
in the middle of the US you can't even fly to Canada/Mexico (borderding countries) in that time.

Everybody sit down, chunk out, and have another glass of refreshing orange juice. Then write a new post.
