Nudity seems to be more accepted here in Spain than in Scotland, if your nude then you must be a pervert. Theres a nudist beach not too far from me.

The state of Virginia has possibly the most restrictions on strip clubs (gentlements clubs) of any U.S. state. There are only a very few in the state, and the dancers must keep partially covered. West Virginia, however, is the opposite- it's very permissive and has many totally nude clubs, even in small towns, near the state border.

My ex wife and a friend were in England to study and went to a sauna. They were the first there and of course , being german went naked. When the next person came in wearing a bathing suit they thought "that is strange, who wears clothes in the sauna". then a few more people came in in bathing suits and they started to get embarrased.

Its not normal for people to go naked in saunas in England, Scotland etc. I remember a German group walked into the sauna in our hotel (Spain) completely naked, it isn't something I want to see really. I felt uncomfortable.

It's pretty common in Scandinavian countries too.

In the parts of Mexico I've been to, dress at the "river" for bathing is more conservative - usually shirts and shorts for males and females alike, kind of like 1930. But you increasingly see American-style swimsuits.

Tha's true : as a speedo buff, I HAD TO ENDURE some unpleasant commentaries and sneers from Mexican women ("you think you're sexy"? "ugly", "look the sexy man", etc) in Puerto Vallarta, so in the end I started wearing these horrible boxer shorts to go swimming like everybody...

You'd receive the same treatment in the U.S., at least around here. Bikini-style swimming shorts are simply unacceptable on males here, EXCEPT in the context of competitive swimming, where they are required. You'd certainly trigger a few sneering glances (from both men and women) at a lake here.
