I'm from Germany and I would love to live in USA anytime.
It is very depressing here and the weather is bad all over western and northern Europe most of the year :/

That's just one example.
What are you talking about. That sounds to me like you are saying that American parents care about their children more then European parents which is bull****. Have you ever thought that maybe its because your country is pretty dangerous with serial killer running around and people with guns almost everywhere.

If quality of life means material quality of life US is ahead, if you mean other things (family, ...), its more subjective.
US wages are higher than Sweden but not significantly so - in Sweden you can still buy lots of things and enjoy a materialistic life style. But in Sweden, you have more benefits than in the US, a lot, lot more.

Parts of America has nicer weather but you'll be too occuppied working to climb the greasy pole in order to buy 'lifestyle' to enjoy it very much. Far too work orientated.
If your young and very ambitious America may be your place but Germany is far from bad.

As in a lot of Northern Europe folk have confidence in their future in time of old age or illness which allows the freedom to enjoy life free of care for the essentials.
I know what I would prefer.
