South America has 12 countries. Central America has 7 countries, and the Caribbean 13 countries.

Africa has 56 countries total when north of Sub-Sahara is included.

Africa has 51 countries total when it does not include north of Sub-Sahara. (I view that to be the more accurate definition for Africa culturally).


2. These are a lot of the smallest countries with the most geographic/nature scenery/ecosystems/and biodiversity variation relative to their size: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Nepal, Bhutan, Ecuador, Peru.

It is kind of surprising how so much of Australia is nearby in geographic distance from a lot of Indonesia.

Imagine if Northern and Northwestern Australia had a big city such as a new version of Sydney or Melbourne over there!? Australia should try to build some bigger cities over there for some extra variation in cities/towns options. Australia could probably sustain increased population in the Northern and Western parts of the country.

Of course, Australia is very different from Indonesia and won’t get too much influence from it, similar to USA-Bahamas and USA-Mexico.
