Bangladesh, not the USA, is where the world's deadliest tornado occurred. Bangladesh is also where the world's heaviest hailstone was recorded.

Bangladesh is the size of a small US state yet has half the population of the US. It's in the top 5 densest nations, and of the densest that is not a city state.

Although Denver is often called the "Mile High City", it's actually average is 5,278 ft (1608 m). The city of Baguio, The Philippines, is actually 5,280 ft(1609 m) above sea, which makes Baguio legitimately the Mile High City of the world.

Bangladesh is also home to the 9th largest city in the world, Dhaka, its capital. Dhaka is also the fastest growing megacity in the world.

And another irony to this is that it's in a tropical climate.

Actually, I think I might have mentioned that the nation with the highest average elevation is in Africa, Lesotho.

Dhaka is probably the least known megacity. It's a huge, sprawling city, one big slum I have to say.
