Yes, kinda like Taranto, Calabria

Most Italian Canadians are from Calabria.

Taranto is not in Calabria.
Furthermore Taranto, unlike Toronto, is pronounced with the main stress on the first syllable

Taranto isn't in Calabria but in Apulia and is around 80-100 km to the closest Calabrese town
