well, those things are true. Kinda laid back culture, mostly nice weather, beautiful women (at least here is true) and the diverse landscape is def amazing in Argentina.
There are downsides, though, but those things are true

Is it bad that i like a song from One direction? its only one song, i don't care for the rest. A lot of music coming from the UK like Ellie Goulding and of course Adele and Coldplay.

I like a lot of music from the US, too, like The Strokes, Pavement and Bob Dylan (and many many others).

Never really cared for radiohead, we do have some great music but UK and Ireland (because U2 is awesome) holds the title for the best music.

I love Radiohead... I've been into them since The Bends. I also really love Blur; they never really get the credit they're due IMHO. 50,000x better than Oasis, who they're always compared to as contemporaries. The fact that the band could take a stage without needing to drink a holding tank full of liquor gave them a clear advantage.

Was never into U2 for the simple reason that they're one of those bands where I'll hear one of their albums, like one or two songs off it, but then each time I listen to those one or two songs, I like it less I appreciate their humanitarian efforts and whatnot, though. I met Bono once, he was a pretty nice guy. Remarkably short, snappy dresser.

There are some fairly-recent UK bands that are pretty great; Teenager, The Horrors, and Modern Life Is War come to mind. There are tons of great bands here in the US, too; nowadays, though, the music industry has pretty much clicked into "status-quo mode" and is only pushing stuff that's a copy of stuff that's already popular since they know it'll sell, rather than pushing new and interesting acts. Blame the recession. Even in the earlier 00's, they were a bit more adventurous... I mean, Queens Of The Stone Age, Interpol, and Electric Six got airplay on the radio and even MTV, which would never happen now.
