Hi. I live in Russia, in the city of Novosibirsk. It is very interesting to me to learn About America, I like this country. You can ask me questions of Russia, I will answer any your question. I too want to ask you questions. I use the translator.
How do Russians view non-whites? I've heard many stories, esp in the past (post-Soviet 90s) that Asians and Africans were often victims of racial attacks and discrimination, by the fringe but visible neo-Nazi supremacist groups. Has the situation turned better now?

In Russia live many nationalities. In general, the situation became much better. As that target discrimination isn't present
Is it difficult for Russians to buy land and build their own home?
Yes. The majority of people live in apartments. These are 9 floor houses, or 16 floor. But most often 9 floor. To buy land not the problem. Personally I consider that in Russia more convenient to live in the apartment. So the majority Russian also live. And on the land which buy, build country houses that in the summer to spend time outdoors.
Historically Russia has had centuries of serfs/peasants living essentially as slaves. So how has this long-term lack of freedom and opportunity effected the mentalitys, capabilities and behavior of modern Russians? I ask with curiosity and sympathy because as we know in America, it takes many many generations to shake off the scars of ill-treatment.

Thanks in advance Russia-nsk!
Passed a lot of time, certainly everything exchanged. Slaves aren't present as at that time. Well and division poor/rich, was always.
