Which Anglophone country do you consider "most diverse"? For fear of biasing, I'll leave the term "diversity" as a blank slate, with the only caveat that I'm talking about the people - not biomes or weather or anything like that. When you picture each country, which do you consider most diverse?
Possible forms of diversity (though please don't limit yourself to these if there are other forms missing)
Racial Diversity
Ethnic Diversity
Tribal Diversity
Ancestral Diversity
Lingustic Diversity
Political/Ideological Diversity
Religious Diversity
Socioeconomic Diversity
Culinary Diversity
Cultural Diversity
Artistic Diversity
Indigenous Diversity
Regional Diversity
I almost voted for Canada but I then remembered that it has such a small African/African descent population while its Aboriginal population is small (the same as in the other former settler colonies). That said, I do think Canada is still worthy of mention on the basis of linguistic diversity alone, if not more.
I'd have to agree that the US pretty much would be and also that Canada would be second, and a close second at that.
I chose Canada.
USA is very close.
Canada wins, it has really opened it's arms to world over past 20 to 30 years...possibly more.
USA has recently done the opposite ...haven't closed them but it is a much harder country
to immigrate to. With Trump....doors will be almost shut.
While very diverse, the USA has huge blocks of certain cultures and ethnicities...
Huge Mexican population..giant West African population...
tons of people than trace their heritage to Germany and England.
Those huge groupings form most of the USA's population.
And they all feel very American now, very distant ties to their old countries.
USA also has a smattering of Italians, Poles, and Jews.
Barely make a dent in US 300 million plus population.
Lots of Native American Indian Tribes...bug hey Canada had that too,
we call them First Nations

Well, I considered all the big metros in both countries; New York, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver etc. All of these area have people with their cultures from pretty much all over the world.
Both countries have large numbers of non English speakers though Canada has official languages where as the US does not. Canada has the Quebecois and the US has several Spanish speaking groups. Both share the Acadians. The US has a descendant culture, Cajun. There are also the Louisiana Creoles. Also, Blacks should not all be lumped together simply as "West African". African Americans, Jamaicans and Nigerians are all quite distinct just as people from western Europeans are.
I gave the edge to the US due to the huge number of what you guys call "first nation" cultures.

That doesn't seem much different from Canada. In both nations, only about six or seven ancestry groups each hold more than 5% of the population.
Culture - Percentage of population born elsewhere:
Australia - 28%
New Zealand - 25.2%
Canada - 21.6%
Ireland - 20%
United States - 13%
United Kingdom - 13%
Culture - Number of culturally distinct indigenous population groups:
Australia - 3
Canada - 2
United States - 2
New Zealand - 1
UK - na
Ireland - na
Lifestyle and regional. Hard to guess but probably:
Australia/United States
.
.
Canada (Doesn’t seem to have the overtly alternative lifestyles and communities you find in Australia, probably because of the climate eg hippie towns and grey nomads)

I can't see Australia coming anywhere close to the US for lifestyle.
