Diarrhea is a more worthwhile topic than what you're posting at the moment.

the Netherlands:

Best things;

Good health care system
Good infra structure, qualty of roads, publict transportation, internet connections
Directness, you can say just about anything
accepting, tolerant
Great work conditions, lots of payed hollidays, sick leave
"Act normal, that's crazy enough mentality", keeps you with both legs on the ground, causes a nice informal environment. No "yes sir, yes ma'm" on the job. You can just walk into the directors office, call him Jan, and start a conversation.

Worst things:

Small, narrow country
Allmost no nature, no chance to go out in the wild
Expensive, especially for young people, and especially young people with children
High taxes, they tax your ass for just about anything
Political correctness (zwarte piet)
Terrible emmigration policies, we let everything happen for half a century (uge amounts of immigrants leeching off of the system) and now all of the sudden we're acting all tough and throwing out little children that were born here and never been in their "home" country at all. (children that missed the "kinderpardon")
"Act normal, that's crazy enough mentality", this one works both ways, cos it also causes people to be very judgemental on anything that's out of the ordinary. Drive a big car, buy a big house, a big tv, and people frown upon you. Then all of the sudden we're not that tolerant and accepting at all.

Worst: People are ignorant.

Best: People are ignorant because they have no view, not an erroneous one.

Worst thing about my country = everyone is ignorant because they don't have the same political beliefs as me

Most of those are tiny and uninhabited. For some perspective, Indonesia has about 18,000

Most modern country in the world? The most technologically advanced countries on earth are the US, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. Thanks for the laugh though!
In the US people have to queue at the bank to get their checks cahsed in or pay their bills, for Chrust's sake! Direct debit is an alien concept. That's about as technologically backwards as I can think of. its not about what the eggheads at the MIT are working on. Its about daily life. And that video is hardly representative of the Netherlands. Of yours you don't know that because you've never been there.
