Svedski, an example of patriotism. Even the things which you labeled as "good" in Sweden, except safety, are things which I would not desire for my country (although most of them are already present). Anyway, Sweden is still an example for most of countries in terms of quality of life.

It's still high enough to create a rain-shadow in eastern Britain. London still gets 150 days of rain so it feels like a fairly wet place.

^ That figure for London looks way off.

Dublin is definitely wetter than London by both amount and no. of days.

FYI, I'm American born and raised.

Best things about the US:

1.) Geographical diversity and beauty; we have everything
2.) Pretty darn good protection for freedom of expression and religion
3.) Relative affluence (for now)

Worst things about the US:

1.) Americans can be incredibly rude, selfish, narcissistic, and infantile
2.) No universal healthcare
3.) Our education system is a joke compared to our first-world counterparts
4.) Our cities are car-centric and major cities are usually too far from each other to drive; long-distance transportation options are almost always car or plane
5.) Too many bigoted, narrow-minded religious nutjobs

Surely that figure for London isn't correct? 226 days of rain!

If you're counting smaller cities then Bergen, Norway would top it all.
