In Canada, most southerners might occasionally be condescending about northerners, but most of the time they don't think much about them. So there are not many preconceived ideas when they meet someone from the north.
Northerners would have more negative attitudes towards southerners though, and think that people down south are snobby and posh, and use the north's resources as their own personal automated bank machine.

I agree 100% but this whole Obama running the country for 8 years should be a learning experience for all the fools who voted for him.
If anything a lot of hardcore Liberals are starting to wake up. I see this nation shifting more towards the Right and that is the only trend that will make sense in 2016.
