I would only include people who are still alive today, born in one country and immigrated to another. It terms of Total numbers I am quite sure it would be India, China or maybe Mexico.

In portion to a countries current population, many people might to surprised to know that about 20% of all living New Zealand Citizens do not live in New Zealand. I might not be the absolute highest, but it certainly is very high. Here is a recent Article on the Problem.

Is our growing diaspora a threat or a weakness? | Stuff.co.nz

Of course in terms of actual numbers it's not huge because NZ it self is a small country.

Armenians, Serbians, Bosnians, Albanians all have high percentages(if not more) living abroad.

Samoans have more living abroad as well. Maybe Hmongs from SE Asia also. Lebanese have a huge diaspora throughout the world.

Salvadorans might have one of the highest percentages for a Latin American nation. They only have about 6 million people in El Salvador but about 2 million Salvadorans live in the USA.

I'm not sure if I understand the question of how many generations does America go back to label one as .......-American? however, as ambiguous as it may sound (second generation immigrant?) Jennifer Anniston currently would be considered a second generation American.

Although I hope this is helpful, I don't know that it really is.

Best regards, sincerely

In the United States

The term second-generation immigrant has attracted criticism due to a perceived self-contradiction. Namely, critics say, a "second-generation immigrant" is not an immigrant, as being "second-generation" implies that the person's parents are the immigrants in question.

Second generation immigrant: U.S.-born children of at least one foreign-born parent.

Jennifer Aniston was born on February 11, 1969, in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, to actors John Aniston
and Nancy Dow. Her father is Greek and a native of Crete, while her mother was born in New York City.
One of her maternal great-grandfathers was an Italian immigrant, and her mother's other ancestry is
Scottish, Irish, and a small amount of Greek.

Most of these people are no longer Chinese by nationality so it doesn't count.
