True, but the "I know what you mean" part is what I was talking about. Please help explain this to others. Maybe you have a better way to describe what I'm trying to describe. All I know is that one hour at dinner with my white friends is enough ... yet I can hang out until three in the morning with my ethnic friends.

I am a professional person and I deal with the public. I have a very large sample size from which to draw my conclusions. Like Robert said, when I am among ethnics it's like someone gave me an oxygen mask.

Not really. I am talking to you as an ethnic Mediterranean European who grew up in the Midwest. The differences between a Midwestern Lutheran, Episcopalian, Methodist, United Church of Christ Member, etc. and an ethnic Catholic are quite dramatic in my opinion.
