Some classifications have Eurasia as a continent, so does the UK consider Eurasia a continent?
Well it is a fact that Eurasia is a continent. But i've never heard anyone say Eurasia if they're not talking about continetal plates etc... Europe as a continent is more cultural.
Asia is 6000+ miles away (further away than anywhere in North America) You can be reassured it is not on the same continent as me.
Eurasia is a continent, Europe is only a continent by Culture. Continental/oceanic fault boundaries is what determines a continent. For example the Eurasian plate boundary is in the middle of the Atlantic which includes the British Isles and all of Europe in the large Europe-Asia continental landmass.
The ural mountain range is a ancient mountain range in Russia. Europe is more a cultural region. The Himalayas for example is new which divids India and Asia but the urals is not comparable.
