Racially its South America wihout a doubt. Culturally and ethnically its either Asia or Africa in regard to indigenous people and languages.
Europe has the highest degree of cultural and ethnic diversity on a relatively small land area.
North America and Australia are probably the least diverse on a cultural basis. You'll barely see any cultural or ethnical difference while driving 1000km/600 miles from Tallahassee, FL to Richmond, VA, whereas within the same distance in Europe you would encounter significant differences (e.g. driving 1000km from Bratislava, Slovakia to Nice, France)
I didn't see North America even in the running, but I guess if you're gonna define it that way .
It was set up that way by the OP when they chose to make the question about both racial diversity AND ethnic diversity, two completely unrelated things that North Americans are probably going to choose themselves for.
id have thought asia , just because their are thousands of different tribes in africa doesnt make the place hugely diverse IMO , consider the contrasts between , uzbekistan , south korea , iran , india , siberia , all the one continent
Africa is most diverse with all the different tribes and languages thats spoken then Asia or vice versa.
Europe isn't as diverse, the least diverse would be Australia.
If you consider Europe and Asia one big supercontinent (Eurasia) than that will be the most diverse.
Africa when it comes to linguistic and genetic diversity--that's pretty much a given. I think in terms of cultural diversity, Asia takes the cake since its the cradle of nearly all major still existing civilizations and continues to have strong regional differences.
North America, which is Canada, Mexico, and the USA, plus the Caribbean Islands.
For every different tribe in Africa, you can bet that there are some members of that tribe living in the USA or the Caribbean. There are all the differnet First peoples in Canada, USA, Mexico. There are both Eskimos and First peoples in Alaska. Plus people from Siberia and other parts of Russia who walked over the frozen ice from Russia.
Every race from Europe has members living in the USA Every country in the Middle East has members living in the USA.
Racially, clearly Americas.
Ethnically, disputed between Africa and Asia.
If you want to think like that you might as well make Eurasia and Africa one big continent too.
Just like North and South America, the only thing separating Africa from Eurasia is a human constructed canal.
