French accents on guys sound weird to me, but they seem to work better on girls.
You are right about French woman sounding better than French men but I am only seduced by the accent when a man speaks it. he he.

Me either. I actually think the least attractive thing about Latinas.

I thought a man speaking French or the French accent was practically an aphrodisiac to many women. I mean it's like a stereotype.

You're right Trimac20, at least for most women. There is something about it, the softness maybe, that shivers a girl's timbers.

Yeah, accents...I think it's a universal thing anyway. The appeal of the exotic (in a variety of degrees).

Hell, even when I go out in Brussels, 50 kilometers from where I live, and I speak French to the local women with a (small) Flemish accent, they find it cute and adorable. Not complaining about it.

So true about the appeal of the exotic. By the way, do you have a sound bite of that Flemish/French accent you can share with us? he he

I voted for Texas drawl - it makes me weak in the knees!

Second place - British (not upper crust though) and third place - Irish.

And yes I can tell the difference between most of the Asian accents, the Pacific Islander accent is very nice for instance. That's why I said women can add or go further into detail of region if they desired to. To be in honest, Davy-040 and Trimac20, a few years before I got married I had me a real humdinger of a crush on a Korean fella, and actually I know many women who are attracted to Asian men.

I also forgot India, which is real cool accent, and a Native American accent, though it is very, very rare yet very distinctive to the ear and pleasant as well. There are probably so many more I neglected to mention too. The list was already so long though and I didn't want the list to be overwhelming.
Hey, if Indian had been on there, I would have chosen it as my third choice - very appealing accent!

Well I admit to being extremely biased with my vote. I voted average Brit but then I'm British and so is my husband, but after 25 years his voice can still make me think 'wow'. Actually though, I'm not sure its so much his accent as the depth and softness - he has a very deep voice. He's also extremely bright so sometimes I get mesmerized when he speaks...sorry I might be getting a bit carried away here...
