Not really. Not where I live anyway.

Average May temps are 70 degrees here. Chicago is 72. I don't see a significant difference.

Well lets see; an example of climate might be a place with thriving winery's and vineyards like Europe or California; oh wait that might also include the Niagara Peninsula, Pelee Island and, my goodness, the Okanagan valley in B.C.

Mountains, prairies, rambling forests, more lakes and fresh water than the rest of the planet, more pristine, still unexplored wilderness than the other countries mentioned AND the icing on the cake ~ far, FAR, fewer people!

From the thriving downtown core of any one of our major cities you are no more than an hours drive to seclusion of your choice, now that's diverse!

We've toured all over Europe and other countries for many years and also spent our retirement years wintering in all the southern United States. We've come to appreciate the North American continent as one that offers it all.

I choose door #1

In this match I would say a U.S/Canada team vs Europe would come out on top..

We have Iceland, Norway, Croatia, Greece and Cyprus. As much if not more variety.
