I know that the Canadians are here and producing and directing. What I was saying is having shows not only made by Canadians here but actually having them made within the Canadian film industry the Canadian way, just like Degrassi is.
Well that would be great of course, but as you know it's all about money...and culture. Canada has an image of being boring, which I find weird.
Also, and a lot of Canadians complain about this, that too much of our Canadian T.V. and movies seem to try and be focused on being really Canadian instead of just being. Music not so much.

Like I said, I think the cable networks will be the key. Another show like Degrassi (but targeted toward an older audience) that is just made in Canada but just is like you said could easily be picked up by ABC Family if it's any good or Nickelodeon again. It's going to start with shows and younger to youngish adult audiences first. the movies will follow once this becomes established...well maybe. Music wise, Canada still appreciates real Dance Music which is nice.
