You didn't say it in those words but your tone is rather condescending. Now you know me and what I think at this point. I'm not sure why you felt the need to explain to me the diversity that exist in European countries. I didn't suddenly forget that just because we are not seeing eye to eye on this issue. My point is, I don't think many Europeans have anymore grasp on the US than many Americans do with Europe. Where as Americans think they live in the best country in the world, Europeans frequently come across as if they are the best people in the world. I'm not saying it's intentional but that is the impression one often gets.
Is it a bad time to start some American flag waving?
Okay first America is a country and Europe is a continent, in my opinion I am fine with the healthcare in the US I'm not paying for the poor like other countries are so I'm good, I'm also fine with the healthcare because I know America has the lower taxes than all those countries you Europeans brag about, yeah those countries with free healthcare in Europe all have high taxes Also people overrate how bad transportation is in America, seriously New York city subway system is the bigger than any city with subways in Europe, here are the following cities with subways systems, light rail and/or streetcar systems, or even line trolleys(not on wheels) in the USA New York City, Atlanta, Baltimore, St, Louis, Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, Philadelphia, Charlotte, San Francisco, Miami, Dallas, San Diego, Denver, Sacramento, Phoenix, San Jose, Houston, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Buffalo, Memphis, Little Rock and i think i am forgetting a couple, this doesn't even include the million transit lines that are under construction right now in cities like Tempe and Cincinnati. Also i think everyone knows the American economy is the biggest and might be doing the best than any European countries...oh wait i forgot we are comparing a country to a continent. American flag waving
These are not really good examples though. the light rail systems in San Diego, Seattle and Sacramento are terrible. I used the one in SD for many years and Seattle's is still in its infancy. BART in the San Francisco Bay Area (which I use now) is faster being a heavy rail system but it's limited. Nothing like NYC subway which is a true urban rail system rivaled only by DC's and Chicago's.
Health care- Europe, no doubt about this
Transportation-Europe more per capita but people do underrate American transportation, I believe NYC has one of the best transportation in the world.
Economics-America is the battery of the world
Freedom-America, less socialisms...
Foreign relations- The aid we are giving says it all

I don't see how you can possibly interpret my post as saying the US isn't diverse. All I said was that the extremes in Europe are far greater (Norway vs. Moldova, Germany vs. Greece, Russia vs. The Netherlands, etc.) and therefore it makes no sense to generalise the entire continent. The US is diverse but not more so than the other countries I mentioned. There are no third-world states in the US and no communist dictatorships (although some Tea Party'ers may disagree). You seem to agree with me on this so I don't quite understand why you chose to respond to my post this way.

Foreign relations? Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba, Venezuela and so on. But I have to admit you made me laugh Thank you.

I'm responding to you this way because, while we agree on most of it, I think there are some things you may not be quite understanding. Are you using third world in the truest sense or an economic sense? If the latter then I would beg to differ about no states fitting that criteria.

Oh please...you made me laugh too, ill be honest I like speaking good of my country but I hope im not waving the American flag here.
