In this particular poll, China is a perfectly reasonable choice. China probably has a wider overall variety of landscapes than the US, but a lot of them are tough to reach, or their park status is only partial, so, it's hard to define exactly what falls into the definition.
About Kruger : one amazing fact about it is that the southern part of the Park is not even tropical, being located at 26° S Lat! and despite this the african feel is there all the way!
I voted for USA, because they got a very huge and quite well protected park.
But if I had the choice, I would have given my vote to some african parks. Biodiversity is much more interesting than in the US - from the tropical jungle to the deserts.
And if Brazil were not destroying their forest, I would have voted for them. South American landscape is - in my opinion - the most beautiful in the world. It's like a bigger Europe with much much less human activity.

Yea, China is also a pretty good bet due to its vastness and diverse landscape as well as having much of its population crammed into the eastern seaboard and the sichuan basin. Canada also has done a good job. Maybe Russia, too, but I don't know much about that matter.
For smaller countries, taiwan, costa rica, and some of the central and northern European countries have done a pretty good job with conservation.
