Would desperately like to dig a new tunnel from Australia to England in order that the English Cricket Team can come home as soon as possible and stop embarrassing the entire nation. On the other hand we could organise a whip round and buy them early flights home.
Well, in the US we are currently working on our bridge from California to Hawaii. When this is finished, we will be more than happy to share the experience of building and crossing an open ocean in a car. We are planning on break down scenarios and storms at sea.

Thought people from these countries were supposed to be "worldly" and smart...
to be fair some of those questions aren't that dumb
The Galloway route is the most likely, as it is more direst than the Cambeldown route and cheaper than the other routes at 21 miles. It also wouldn't be too far from Carlisle, which is a major transport interchange for the West Coast Main Line from Glasgow to London via Manchester and Birmingham, with a further line from Carlisle to Newcastle and the East Coast.
I think it would be brilliant. You could drive to Glasgow from here in like two hours which is fantastic.
The time would be reduced significantly but its not gonna happen.

It might happen one day, just not in the foreseeable future.
It woulld more likely be a rail link like the Channel Tunnel than a road link, although like the Channel Tunnel you would be able to drive your car on to the train.

LOL - can't wait for this torture to finish and for Engalnd to come home.
We have had a good run in recent years, and hopefully things will improve by the time of the next Ashes series.
Australia have been worthy winners and very good to watch, just which we could have given you a game, and yes that one day match was close and offered a rare moment of excitement from a very one sided tour.
