Both diverse and interesting, but I would say Asia because it's more diverse (from Israel to Japan to Indonesia to India to Asian Russia - in terms of religion, language.etc), older, and I suppose in some ways more exotic, even though I've travelled to a lot of Asian countries. Europe is of course still fascinating, but most of Europe has the same cultural heritage of Christianity, influenced by Greco-Roman philosophy.etc.

Asia for me! Even though America is quite different from Europe, Asia on the other hands, feels completely exotic. There is also a much bigger difference (to me) between Japan, Korea, Hong Kong to Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc than England to Spain to Italy.

I guess Asia mostly because I grew up in the US which is more culturally influenced by Europe so it does not feel as exotic.

That being said though I can't say I have a desire to visit parts of Asia such as India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, or anywhere in the Middle East so I would probably choose to visit Europe over those countries.

Well to give you an example, most of Europe speaks an Indo-European language, while Japanese and Mandarin aren't even in the same family.

I would China has similarities to Vietnam and Korea, and a lesser extent Japan. Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Burma are sort of one 'group', Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines another, the Indian sub-continent another, central Asia, Iran, the Arabic world, Turkic world etc.

It depends where you come from. If it's more different to you, then it is more interesting to you.
