During those 5 weeks, more than 5 millions of people died. Nothing is wrong with this world. We'll all die from a reason or another.

Except that both of these events happened in Asia, I don't see any other real connection between the two.

Both are tragic incidents that costed a few hundred innocent lives and finding a relation between the two instead of feeling grieve is all you can think of ?

And that many people are toiling in the recovery and rescue efforts doesn't mean anything to you ?

Just because it is happening in another part of the world and doesn't affect you you don't feel anything about it ?

What happened to humility of mankind ?

Mankind is beyond words.....

If one should be sad for every tragedy that's happening in the world, there wouldn't be time for anything else.

I try to limit my affection to white meat-eating heterosexual Western European men just to limit the scope.

This message was possibly serious or possibly not.

This is ridiculous to me.. So a white meat eating heterosexual Western Europe male is superior to all other mankind ?? They cannot die in tragedies but all other kinds of people it doesn't matter if they die in tragedies ??

Next time when a tragedy happens in the Western Hemisphere I will control myself not to be upset cos it don't matter of many of them die..

Of course not. Every man and female is equal.

I mentioned once the "cultural spheres" where we belong to and it limits our comprehension and emotions in the surrounding world. If a maniac shoots 20 people in a nightclub in Toulouse or bomb the London Underground, it's headline news here, if one does the same in Singapore nobody gives a crap.

I know, it is rude and politically incorrect, but that is how it works. I'm sorry.

7.1 billion people are living on this planet, death rate is at approx. 8.78 deaths per 1000 people a year. So, actually more than 5 million people are dying in 5 weeks.
