Because the monkeys threw their feces at the pigs, who proceeded to eat it. Indeed it is broad, however the article didn't specify what type of monkey it was, either. It's not airborne.

User-friendly blogging tools are giving conspiranoids a "respectable face". Up to know their sites were clogged Geocities messes with shocking colour combinations, so you knew right away there were mentally ill people behind it.

No, it's not, I have a cousin who works with monkeys, I don't see how why that's so hard to believe. Have you ever seen pigs? They are cannibals, throw them pork and they'll gobble it up.
