China has less than three hundred nukes, and with lower range and yeald,
Britain and France both have more and bigger nuclear weapons and with longer range than china.
China also has no 'blue water navy', this means they have very little power projection and can not engage in long distance warfare like USA, UK and France. Chinas military equipment is also much less advanced than America, Britain, France and Israel. China has no ability to wage war agains USA, UK or Russia, they don't even make their own aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines, tanks, jets etc are years behind
The thing is China has the manufacturing industrial capacity to ramp up military production if they so choose to. Before the U.S. entered WWII the U.S. in numerical terms was very lacking in military hardware compared to Germany and Japan. During WWII the Americans and the Russians had less advanced military equipment compared to Germany (Tanks, Jets, V2 Rocket ,88mm artillery piece, MG 38 machine gun,world's first assault rifle) but history proved overwhelming quantity trumps quality.
Actually they signed the agreement below, and Russia occupied the entire Crimea before the referendum was held. If Obama didn't say a single word about the crisis I am pretty sure more people will slam him.

The memorandum included security assurances against threats or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine as well as those of Belarus and Kazakhstan. As a result Ukraine gave up the world's third largest nuclear weapons stockpile between 1994 and 1996.
Following the 2014 Crimean crisis, the U.S., Canada and the U.K. all separately stated that Russian involvement is in breach of its obligations to Ukraine under the Budapest Memorandum, and in clear violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The US never was a sole world superpower(Russia, EU, China) and is rapidly losing its superpower status to China and India. It is in decay in just about every aspect: income, education, science, information technology, business, industrial production, etc to mostly Asia. This has been going on for decades already.
There are predictions by economists that the standard of living in China will have overtaken the US by 2025, although frankly that seems a little early to me.
India where most people still live in the stone age because of their extremely poor standard of living, will NEVER surpass the U.S.
By American standards, over 95 percent of people in India would be considered poor. India is the epitome of a banana republic with extremely inferior infrastructure.

So not only do you refuse to look beyond superficialities when Washington's fingerprints are all over this crisis from its inception, but to think that the US government would be so blatant as to arm the uprising with up to date weaponry is simply startling.
