I got Egyptian, which is odd since I've had my DNA tested by two different companies and both results were at least 98.6 percent northern European, and 90 percent of that specifically British, Irish, German and Scandinavian.

And that is why we have genetic scientists study our DNA to determine our heritage, instead of having art historians study Greek and Egyptian statues.

The only reason it is associated with the Greeks is that they considered it an 'ideal form' during the Classical period so it shows up on a lot of their ancient statuary. The 'Egyptian foot' was coined to describe the contrasting foot type that showed up most commonly on Egyptian statuary.

It really doesn't have anything to do with your 'roots', just how awesome (or ugly) ancient Greeks and Egyptians would have considered your feet.

On the other hand, I hypothesize the 'Celtic Foot' is an orthopedists cruel joke.
