What the title states.

With all things being equal; let's say that all of us have the ability to learn new languages quickly and can adjust to cultural differences and types of food environments rather fast, let's just say with job opportunities being completely equal everywhere, what would be the only cities you could see yourself living in the world?

I'll go first; none of these are in order at all. Just off the top of my head.

Europe:
Berlin
Frankfurt
Rhine-Ruhr
Munich
Hamburg
Amsterdam (really all of Randstad in general)
Barcelona
London
Madrid
Valencia
Oslo
Stockholm
Manchester
Nice

Middle-East:
Tel-Aviv
Haifa

Asia:
Seoul
Hong Kong
Osaka
Tokyo
Singapore
Nagoya
Bangalore
Pune
Busan

Oceania:
Melbourne
Sydney
Brisbane

North America:
New York
Miami
Toronto
Chicago
Vancouver
Washington
Tucson
San Diego
Denver

You?

I'm use to being around different ethnic groups in a daily basis so the city has to be multicultural.

First English speaking countries in North America

1. New York city
2. Toronto
3. Boston
4. Washington, DC

Then Europe...

5. Amsterdam
6. Paris
7. The Hague

Then Australia's big cities

8. Melbourne
9. Sydney

Big massive gap

10. Atlanta
11. Vancouver
12. Marseille
13. Auckland
14. Madrid
15. Los Angeles

Why Vancouver and Los Angeles so far down the list? Especially if you're going by multicultural.

I hate cities, and would never want to live in one. But if I had to, my current fantasy is that Kinshasa would be an amazing place to live.

Munich, Zurich, Milan, perhaps Frankfurt and Copenhagen in Europe. In Americas, maybe Montreal, Vancouver or perhaps Santiago. In Asia and Africa, none. In Oceania, Sydney. I like global cities, but not the very huge ones.

Those cities seem too spread out. Maybe Vancouver should be further up the list though.

In Europe, probably the only places I would consider is Madrid & Barcelona.

Nowhere in Middle East.

Asia would be Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore Hong Kong, Bali.

All of the Aussie cities would be acceptable.

N. America would be San Diego, Denver, Phoenix, Miami, Tucson.
