Canada is VAST and varied. If you had spent time in places like Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, Halifax, St John's and St John, PEI you would have a much better understanding of the country.

It's the old adage, Amsterdam is not The Netherlands, Paris is not France.
Yes I understand but since i've visited Canada I am allowed to give my opinion.

I have been told my uncle was "sent" there and that it is a dive. I am quite scared to visit Canada again after visiting Winnipeg I really hated it! I actually couldn't stand it and was so excited to leave!

Me too. But of course, everything we've seen in Canada is a dive, so what the hell do we know? Could have been a couple cardboard boxes taped together, and I'd probably think that was luxury.

In the age of the internet, it's surprising someone who apparently can type on a keyboard and post, hasn't at least tried and do a little research to challenge themselves and their pre-conceived notions.

This is Canada, at least in part.

Don't bother. We're all just going to be begging you for your money and pull on your pockets while you walk down the street, like you see people do in India.

You're usually a rather rational poster so I am a bit puzzled why you would try to get Mac15 to come back to Canada. The even-minded reaction clearly is: be happy he isn't coming back, addition by substraction they say!
