I have lived in South Korea, Germany and Japan.

I wouldn't want to live outside the US too long and hopefully I don't to make a decision to do such but if I had to choose based on the places I've lived then the answer is Japan easily.

Logistically it would be easiest to live in Ireland because of dual-citizenship but I would love to live and travel thoughout Central and South America notably Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru. I have only been to Costa Rica so far..

Norway seems nice. I'd love to live there. But then there is the language barrier. Yes, I'm quite aware of Norwegian English proficiency levels and how they compare to most of Europe. But you still must learn another language if you want to live there, and I'd hate to live there and not speak the language. It's one I'd be interested in learning though. Canada would still be my #1 choice, but since that's not an option, as specified by the OP, it's a tough question. Once Canada is removed from the picture, my interest in living in another country seriously declines. I think there are places in Chile, Argentina, or Uruguay that would appeal to me... my Spanish is okay but would need significant improvement to live in any one of those countries. New Zealand seems kind of neat. But, as with South America, it's too far from home. I've always been one for wanderlust, but there are many locations in my own country, or in Canada, that are far more appealing as places to live than anywhere else abroad.

That actually sounds like a good idea.

You ever try to find Mexican food in Europe? You can't.

American tourists would flock to me by the thousands :-)
