LASK Linz against a team from the 21st Viennese district (FAC). Aweful game, aweful weather, great vibe amongst the crowd. Small football field in Vienna (in said 21st district).

Mariahilfer Straße. One of the main shopping streets. 6th/7th district.

Kunsthistorisches Museum (fine arts), statue of Empress Maria Theresia and the Christmas market that opened up this week.

Naschmarkt.

Famous shoe producer and University of Vienna in the background.

Got to love Europe in November. Leaveless trees, damp and overcast skies.

Yep... And winter is not gonna be any better... Well, you could add brown slush to that list.

This is beautiful though, love the view of tall pines mixed in with a sprinkle of dead trees in a cloudy environment.
More beautiful when its foggy out.

Yeah, but that is taken in the coldest area of Scandinavia.

Lots of pine trees everywhere in the south as well: https://www.google.com/maps/@60.1860...eAWjsGl7xw!2e0

Double Yellow line looks American:

and dirt roads! Is the forest in the background planted or grew on its own?

These aren't sweeping vistas or anything, but I stepped outside to snap these shots - to show the typical November weather in northeast Texas and to show that, while we don't generally have jaw dropping displays of fall color, we do actually have trees - and they do actually shed their leaves and some of those leaves are not just plain brown! LOL

Double yellow line means no overtaking. On the same road here it's yellow on the left side, white on the right. It means no overtaking on the left lane, but overtaking permitted driving on the right lane:

In the second, most likely the forest is most likely at least partly planted.

Minnesota, huh?
