He would have been better than the mess we have now. I'll be voting for Johnson although he is not a true Libertarian and a kook in his own right. If the Libertarians can get 5% of the vote this year, federal funding will be available to match contributions in 2020 and maybe freedom will have a a puncher's chance. Maybe.
Also the Kenya one wasn't a joke, Obama has family in Kenya, this is not disputed. Most of the poor central African countries like the US, more so than Europe.
The IRA received all it's funding from the Boston area and most Americans are pro Irish or Irish themselves, Germans hate us which is pretty annoying, Italy is more on the ally side, and the Clinton's ripped off Haiti while all there people were dying so they still hold that against us.
Also South America keeps sending illegals up to the US and their commie governments spend all their time complaining about US spies and assassinations like it's the cold war
This discussion is about the formal definition of international allies and enemies which relates to military and sometimes economic cooperation, usually agreed upon by treaty.
It is not a discussion of the informal definition consisting of places you though up while you were drunk that may or not be "annoyed" by the US or be home to some relatives of the head of state.
not the terrorist part obviously but I love Irish culture and how while the whole world was against them, Americans, many with Irish roots, stood up with them. St. Patrick's day is a bigger deal here than in Ireland and most Americans are pro-unification going back to the Kennedy's.
It was? When was this? Do you realise that a majority in N. Ireland voted to stay within the UK, do you as an American believe in democracy?
I was talking about Northern Irish Catholics like the IRA
I hope you are not very old, which may explain your naivety, nobody was or is 'against Irish Catholics', however the IRA may not have been liked due to the fact they were a terrorist organisation that murdered innocent men women and children, this tends to have a 'negative' affect on the way people view your organisation, just ask ISIS. The whole situation in Northern Ireland was/is an horrific mess and most of the problem is caused by people on all sides that cannot or will not put aside their hatred for each other, thankfully it seems to me that the younger generation are finally starting to throw off the shackles of hate, well I hope so anyway.

Saying they were terrorist is the same as saying the Ulster's were terrorist which are both true. Just because the UK government supported one over the other doesn't make one better than the other.
Besides, terrorism has all but left the region, my point was the strongest support for northern Irish Catholics who want to re-unify with Ireland (outside of Ireland) are Americans who have strong roots and culture similarities with the Irish while the vast majority of the world don't support the NON-VIOLENT pro-unification Catholics.
Friends/Allies: Argentina, Chile, Portugal, Angola, France, Japan.
Warm Relations: Italy, Germany, USA, China, Russia, India, South Africa, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Paraguay, Haiti, East Timor, Philipines, Guyana, Greece, Vietnam.

I don't suggest that any 'terrorist' is better than any other, it seemed to me that you were supporting the IRA, which is an organisation that bombed innocent men, women and children on the British mainland, if you think that is fine then I guess you also have no problem with the 9/11 attacks or any ISIS terrorist attack?

This is what happens when you feed and foment hatred towards groups of people, then it turns into culture that is taught to the newer generations and becomes very difficult to change. Once you have planted the seed and movement for hate, it grows and establishes strong roots.
