Hey I'm a new time traveler and I have a few placed in mind but I'm sure which place to choose to visit my choices are Paris, Italy, Israel, Egypt or Dubai where do you guys think I should go and why?
You have three countries and two cities there. Wouldn't you want to see more of France or the UAE? Or do you mean that you would only really visit Cairo, Rome, and Tel Aviv?
My vote goes to either Italy or France, as long as France doesn't just mean Paris. These also happen to be the easiest countries to adapt to being an American first time traveller.
I really disliked Egypt and felt that it took a Herculean effort to get through a day of walking the streets there. At least in the tourist-trafficked areas.
Dubai and the UAE are too fake and consumeristic for my tastes, and the Israel/Palestine conflict simply just annoys me too much for me to want to visit right now. I'm also not Jewish or that interested in what it has to offer either, however.
On Nicaragua’s Little Corn Island, the fresh lobster is cheap; the hammocks plentiful; and the pace slow. Factor in a new hotel and spa with 16 oceanfront cabanas, and vacationing here is more blissful than ever.
It’s just one of the places that will appeal to travelers seeking what’s new and notable in 2014. They remind us that there are still discoveries to be made, even in seemingly familiar destinations—and that with travel, too, timing is everything.
