Well, based on watching your posts around here, I don't think you're as in the dark as you're trying to come across so I'll continue this with you when you're ready to be more serious.
I think its pretty obvious that people in this forum can't handle pro American viewpoints.
I have never in a serious matter said "USA is the best country ever!" its always assumed that i think that because i have more pro American views than most here, and i find it weird how i can't voice my thoughts without some random person calling me a overly patriotic redneck or something like that.

You can voice your thoughts, the problem is, you can't handle anyone voicing theirs if they disagree with you. The mere tone of THIS post proves that.
I'd just like an honest opinion about this, especially from Europeans and Asians. Its like everyone is against America and has a bone to pick against it. Is it because USA is the only superpower left? Is it because USA is the watchdog of the world and interferes with other countries? Is it because its perceived as colonizing and taking over oil reserves half a world away? Is it because of economic disparity or racism, in light of recent events going on?
I think you get too much of your information from online sources or slanted news sources.
The more you travel, the more you realize that many people could care less about Americans and the USA. They are too pre-occupied with making ends meet and trying to fix their own lives. Also, not everyone is into politics or learning about other countries. Or, they are more interested in countries with a strong presence in their own region.
For example, my family in Brazil has absolutely no interest in coming here and they never talk about Americans or even ask questions about them. They are too pre-occupied with their local life to care. They also like their country and are content with traveling around locally. Vacations are in Brazil or in neighboring Uruguay and Argentina.
When I lived in Spain, my Spanish roommates also didn't really care about anything having to do with the USA. I lived there already 10 years ago and to this day, they have no interest in coming here. They never asked questions about life in the USA either.
Americans are too self-absorbed and self-centered, thinking that the world is obsessed with them and always thinking about them.

no, its the assumption that others are jealous of the US.
Not jealous at all. Pretty happy with where I landed.
Americans have an impression that people hate them more than they actually do. Even most Arab countries don't hate Americans as much as perceived. Just a vocal minority. Except the French. They really hate us.
I have alot of Middle Eastern acquaintances and have spoken to them about this. I agree, I think it is a minority of people in the region that hate the US.

That has to do with our own media. We are constantly having a fear the world mentality massaged into our heads. The USA thrives on fear and making itself the victim. Sometimes we are the victim but not as often as we are told.

People don't hate america in masses, whenever there is a major power there will be more opportunities for the power to do things that smaller countries can't. It's like asking why does everyone hate the British/French/Russian empire?
Most people around the world don't think twice about us. The Japanese I met while visiting their country reacted in a neutral manner to me being from the U.S., but gave me very positive and energetic reactions when I specified California.
Overall, the most antagonistic countries towards the U.S. will be in the Middle East and Latin America (especially south of Mexico) where the U.S. has a long history of interference, so they have very good reasons. Nonetheless, you will find though that while their governments are not U.S. friendly, the average person will treat you with respect as long as you do the same.
France/Paris is a special case. I'm not sure what their problem is exactly...maybe they are annoyed by our patriotism because it mirrors theirs (both countries have too much of an ego.)
Around the world people LOVE California- we are the epitome of cool culture in their eyes.
I have experienced it time and time again in many countries.

Haters gonna hate. lol
Haha, it's the rest of America that hates California. Funny how things work huh? LOL
