Shunned and oppressed are Native American religious beliefs.
They'e shunned and oppressed because the separation of church and state also applies to them. Oh the horror.

most people like Americans but dislike the actions of our govt and private companies abroad.

what things?

Killing democratically elected rulers to insert dictators who give America better trade deals

Refusing shipment of hospital supplies and baby food to Iraq during sanctions pre 2003

using military force to ensure we get enough oil to feed our gluttonous lifestyle.

supporting Israels iron fist rule of Palestine and allowing their excessive responses to attacks from Palestine

having too many military bases across the world, whether the host country wants us there or not

Columbia wouldn't allow us to build a canal, so we attacked them and "freed" Panama so we could have a puppet state that allowed us to build and control a canal

etc etc

I am American and do love my country. but out actions in many cases have been horrible and unjustified

What are you waiting to immigrate to Canada? And if you would, please bring Michael Moore, Michael Bloomberg, Nancy Pelosi, Barrack Obama with you-you guys together can build your Commie Socialist Republic up there.

IMO the only international actions our military should take us in protecting people from being attacked by outside groups. successful examples include East Timor, South Sudan, and Yugoslavia. we need to protect the Southern half of Nigeria from radical islamist like Boko Haram and the Kurds in northern Iraq from ISIS. Moderate Muslims and Christians are bring slaughtered as we speak. even so qaida has condemned isis as too extremr

Look at Iraq. We have made a mess of that entire region, and it is real hard to argue that George Bush's intervention improved things. Yes the very bully that I am referring to.

Now we have ISIS.

Ukraine. European country, yet the USA is involved, and in turns out that the Ukraine govt mightn't be much better off than the Russians.

We need to stay home and let the rest of the world solve its problems. We have more than enough of our own, and our mediocre standings when compared to most other wealth nations is evidence of that, when ever any metric of quality of life is cited.
The Iraq invasion was the STUPIDEST thing this country has ever done. We spent millions on an unnecessary war, caused massive casualties to people who had nothing to with anything, and broke up a complex, diverse country into factions, allowing for extemists to set up camp.

Arrogant and selfish military strategy initiated by the Bush camp.

SOMEBODY has to do the dirty work in the world, unfortunately - because most of humanity are not saints.

Most people would prefer that somebody to be the United States rather than Russia, China, Iran, or even the United Kingdom for that matter.

2. Please have you seen India justice system
The US justice system is horribly corrupt yet claims to be just. ESPECIALLY the divorce industrial complex which is tyrannical and abusive towards children.

3. How?
Maybe that was a bit dramatic. Ok, I admit it.

Just so you know, I'm no fan of any of those people, either. (politically speaking)
But sure, if I didn't have a daughter and family here I would most certainly try Canada as America is a horrible country.

From what I can tell, they hate our government (with good reason) and think that every stereotype about the US is true.

Everybody knows how fxckin' expensive American colleges are,but obviously that does not prevent parents from all over the world to send their children to the States at all.
