You should come and visit. Our forests are all mixed. Ok, we don't have mountains here, but islands are a good surrogate, aren't they?

I'm not a fan of dry landscapes. I prefer forests, mixed and deciduous.

Wet. It's lush and green where I live. We have a sea loch in front of our house, a few mountains, and behind our house is a forest.

I do enjoy an African savanna though.

Whilst I can appreciate and admire a desert, I would have to say forest ~ love rain forests
