It is not acceptable to show off wealth in Asia, being humble is more acceptable.
Asian women usually assume humble man to be poor until she finds out the truth later.
A man do not attract women by telling them how rich they are. The woman usually figure it out by knowing his job or business, his education, where he live, how large is his residence, what car he drives. Asking how much a person make is not considered rude in Asia and is common.
Asian women are interested in both average looking men and good looking man. Because they know they will never find out how rich or poor a man is by just looking at him.

What country is it bad to be a good guy at. A place where the tough dude who don't brush his teeth get all the love
whereas the little soft good guy is told so what nobody cares.

Nobody is truly alone, OP. There is ALWAYS someone for somebody somewhere out there. Beggars can't be choosers, you know, that old chestnut

I think, people around the world are similar, some girls like good guys, another girls like tough guys.
But, I must to note, that traditionally men that live in Caucas are very tough and their women unlikely would like soft guy.
Midwestern America definitely meets the criteria you're describing.
You'll go much further here if you're willing to step on people along the way, and many people often confuse arrogance with confidence and assertiveness. If you're nice to people (without kissing ass, mind you-- I get what the first responder to this thread was saying), they take that as a sign that you can be walked all over and will try to exploit you for as much as you're worth until they're done with you (or you stand up for yourself)
There's an every man for himself attitude seeping in background of day to day life, and people are often cliquey. People who are more skilled at social manipulation often have the most friends.
