I am posting from France. I am American, originally from Oregon. Met and married my French hubby in Arizona, now live with him in South of france...La Seyne sur Mer. Looking to make the move back to the states within a year.

Baja Boomer: Yes, Stockholm is nice but a bit snobby - if you go, make sure to go when it's summer, the rest of the seasons in Sweden is depressing.
I can live without lutfisk to :-) But surströmming is even worse (rotten fish who really stinks). Do you know where in Sweden your grandmother was born?
