Europe isn't as left-winged as we, Americans think (Thank God!) (university, wages)

Europe is more "socialist", more corporativist...but many of those "commy" things are fascist in origin. Plus, America is federal, while Europe, more so the new Europe, is Jacobin.
As May says, "The problem that we have had is this distinction of saying we will only go after you if you are an extremist that directly supports violence. [This] has left the field open for extremists who know how not to step over the line."
Like Mrs. May, I can't see the difference between one imam preaching worldwide jihad and another one "just" talking about filthy infidels in Western Europe and praising the work of the jihadis in Syria and Iraq. The outcome will be the same.

There is no such thing as a word caleld corporativist. You mean corporatist? How can it be more socialist and corporatist at the same time?

Eh? It reads that the government wants to ban whatever speech it deems "dangerous".
xenophobia is definitely more expressed in western Europe that's for sure. But it's not something you'd see in eastern europe, unless you're gypsy people are very friendly to almost anybody - american, asian, mexicans etc you name it. I don't believe Christianity is rising there though - why would that be? Christianity was rising in europe in the 5th century but there's no reason for this today.
Yep, it has been replaced with Islam as the fastest growing religion in Europe.

Reason is a radically libertarian magazine. The style of this article reflects that. Visit the original article on BBC.co.uk for a more toned down version of it. There you'll read that it's not a proposal by the UK's government, but part of the Conservative Party's election manifesto for 2015.
Also, you'll notice that it's aimed towards Islamists who already figured out ways to circumvent current legislation.

I think I got cancer from this post. Please explain how it's cheaper to wage wars than to have proper life for everyone? America uses much more money to it's flawed system. Actually it's the most expensive system in the world! I guess socialism works better than your system

Europe isn't socialist, that's a myth spread by right wing nuts in the US.
